CLOUD – ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities
?Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems on cloud.
? Evaluating and improving existing cloud deployments, Identify appropriate use of cloud deployment and operational best practices ? Proficiency in SDLC; & Scripting & Resource monitoring, Knowledge & experience of RDS, PaaS Database
? Migrating Services on Cloud, Prod experience to initiate Disaster Recovery and troubleshooting accordingly.
? Open for Shifts & 24/7 operations, mentoring and trainings engineers.
? Active participation in Implementing best practices, new recommendations, SIPs, Cost & Security optimization initiatives
? Able to demonstrate programming ability in one common programming and scripting languages (e.g, YAML, PowerShell, JSON , Python, Ruby)
? Knowledge & experience of RDS, PaaS Database
? Understand deployment to cloud IaaS PaaS models
Identifying RISKs / Issues and propose appropriate actions
? Experience with current industry standard DevOps tools and practices
? Container Architecture & Components, skills to deploy container Clusters, work with Pods & Deployment
? Key difference between managing Kubernetes between On-prem & on Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
? Work with Development Team, Cloud Security & Compliance, Infrastructure Teams, etc. to execute on cloud offerings
? Understand differences between EKS – Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, AKS – Azure Kubernetes service, GKE – Google Kubernetes Engine
? Knowledge of Linux Administration, Networking, Cloud Storage, & scripting is preferred
? Good understanding and knowledge of monitoring, alerting tools such as ELK stack, Nagios, Prometheus, etc.

? Total Experience = 6 - 12 years in Cloud Technology (Azure, AWS, Oracle, AVS, Google, etc)
? Relevant Experience = At least 2 - 4 years experience in managing and designing cloud solutions
? Certification = Practitioner, SysOps & Associate Architect for one Hyperscaler
? Other Skills = Technology Management, Problem-solving skills, Collaboration & Communication
